How can the Smoke Balm Palette from theBalm create so many looks?! Well, just you wait…

I am a complete eyeshadow obsessive. Whether it’s a duo, trio, quad or a full host of 12 shades, there’s just something about eyeshadow palettes that turn me into a magpie.

theBalm are such a huge brand favourite of mine. From their blushers to eyeliners to lipsticks – there isn’t a product I haven’t fallen a little bit in love with over the years. I’ve written multiple posts like this on them. They’re mid-range when it comes to price, but top notch when it comes to quality. Just what I like to hear and what I like to recommend.

When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, theBalm like to offer something slightly different from the norm. From looking at all that they offer, although the nudes are there, they also offer a unique colour selection of mattes including blues and greens.

But this post, ladies and gents, features the Smoke Balm Palette Vol. 4. It’s cute AF and I’m lovin’ it.

With three shades that can be used in numerous ways, I used this as my go-to holiday palette and I used to absolute crap out of it after I took these photos.

These are 3 shades that any hazel/brown/green eyed gal needs to create multiple eye-popping looks. From using the bronze ‘Striking’ shade all over the eye to mixing it up a little bit with all of the three – I’ve been loving using it a few different ways.

The shades are well pigmented, not quite the ‘foil’ they’re advertised to be, but they give a great colour pay off. Just like all theBalm eyeshadows, they’re simple to blend and are so easy to work with. I have a fair few of their palettes and they’re all of equal quality.

Both the matte and shimmer shades give off great colour and don’t require a huge amount of build up. With most shimmer shades I use (not just from theBalm), I tend to spritz some makeup setting spray/mist on my brush to really amplify the colour. If you’re wanting some glowing glitz, this is definitely a little tip to try for yourself if you hadn’t already.

If you’re a gal on the go, this palette is for you. Taking you from your work day to afternoon meeting to some night drinks, it’s a mini palette that does a whole lotta stuff.
