Beauty | Shopping My Stash – Lips

This week I’m shopping my make-up stash from Monday to Friday to see what products come out of the woodworks! Perhaps this will postpone my beauty spending habits for a while, we’ll see…

Lip products make up for around 50% of my entire make-up collection so it’s no wonder that I have a lot of them that don’t tend to get their fair share of usage. Despite owning the same shades in different formulas or from different brands there seems to be nothing more pleasing than a new lip product. The Rimmel Apocalips were one of their biggest launches over the past few years and everyone swooned over them, including myself. I remember choosing to wear these for work as they last all day whilst needing very minimal touching up, I may bring them back out for that very reason alone whilst possibly picking up some new shades!

The Revlon Matte Balms were also another huge hit when they were released and despite owning a few shades I always seem to stick to just the one. I think when Spring has fully sprung I’ll bring back some of the brighter shades as I love the creamy formula and easy application. Perhaps I’ll pick up some of the gloss version too? I picked up this NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream on holiday and fell in love on first application and it’s a real shame I haven’t used it much. My local Next finally stocks NYX so I’m excited to try more of their offerings. This pretty shade is great for everyday wear when my lips aren’t too dry. The tiny sizing makes it easy to pop in your bag too!

Mega lip-product loving occurs in the Lillie collection I’ll tell you that. Do you have a ever growing lip product collection? Which brands are your favourite to buy from? Let me know in the comments below. I really hoped you enjoyed this mini series on Thumbelina Lillie! Back to regular posting from Sunday! Thanks for reading.
